President Donald Trump has demanded the House of Representatives pass the GENIUS Act without amendments, following the Senate's 68-30 approval. The bill, which aims to establish federal oversight of stablecoins, marks Congress's first major foray into crypto regulation. "Get it to my desk, ASAP — NO DELAYS, NO ADD ONS," Trump declared on Truth Social, framing the legislation as critical for maintaining US dominance in digital assets.

Partisan tensions linger as the House prepares to debate the measure. While 18 Democrats crossed party lines to support the Senate vote, critics like Senator Elizabeth Warren continue to question Trump's financial ties to the crypto industry. The bill previously failed in May amid similar concerns.
